Auf der Uhlenhorst gelegen bietet das Hotel aus 1892 einen schönen Blick auf die Alster und den Sonnenuntergang über Hamburg. Die Stiftung Denkmalpflege und die HASPA zeichneten das Treppenhaus 1990 als „schönstes von Hamburg“ aus. Eine aufwändige Sanierung und der Einbau eines gläsernen Fahrstuhls lassen alte Pracht wieder glänzen. Von 2016 an erfolgte die denkmalgerechte Sanierung der Fassade und aller Zimmer über vier Jahre.

An elaborate renovation and the installation of a glass elevator let old splendor shine again.
