Eine kleine Seitenstraße nah der Katharinen-Kirche. Die Bebauung reicht vom Mittelalter bis heute. Ein praktisches Kontorhaus aus den 1907 Jahren überrascht mit einem dynamischen Treppenhaus. Der Architekt G. Wöckner (-) erstellte den Ursprungsbau. Der Umbau durch Otto Paradowski erfolgte 1959-60.

Erhaltene Gebäude aus dem Barock sind in Hamburg nur wenige zu finden. Ein Hamburger Kaufmannshaus (ca. 1700) steht nah der Speicherstadt im Grimm. Eine kleine Straße neben der Sankt Katharinen Kirche. Eine prächtige Holztür empfängt den Besucher. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg standen nur noch eine Handvoll Häuser aus dem Mittelalter im Grimm.

Preserved buildings from the Baroque period are few and far between in Hamburg. A Hamburg merchant’s house (ca. 1700) stands near the Speicherstadt in the Grimm. A small street next to St. Catherine’s Church. A magnificent wooden door welcomes the visitor. After the Second World War, only a handful of houses from the Middle Ages still stood in the Grimm.
