The present office and commercial building was built in 1903 and was named after the banker Salomon Heine (1767-1844). The architects were Ricardo Bahre (-) and Carl Querfeld (1849-1893). The designs were made by Ockelmann, Rottgardt & Partner.

Kunsthaus Jungfernstieg
Built in 1932 according to plans by Max Koppel (1810-1885) near the Alster. The striking facade was designed by Paul Huster (-). Cross braces and a generous window front on the first floor radiate objectivity. It was built for the art dealer Heinrich Langhagen (-). The slender staircase may date from the 1950s. An interesting feature is an almost continuous metal handrail.

Located directly on the Binnenalster, the Kontorhaus is very prominent. The architects Gottfried Schramm (1894-1982) and Erich Elingius (1879-1948) erected the building in 1935/36. There is an arcade on the first floor. The staggered floor (7th floor) has been completely renovated and expanded in 2016.

Gutrufhaus
The Gutruf jewelers built the Kontorhaus on Neuer Wall in 1913-1915. Architects were Franz and Max Back.It is a building in the angle. The other end is on Jungfernstieg. The pompous staircase in the Neuer Wall foyer led to the Jungfernstieg. An elevator was subsequently installed in the elegant stairwell with yellow walls. A second staircase is located in the rear part of the building.

Streit’s House at Hamburg Jungfernstieg
Since 1838, the „Streit Haus“ has stood in the city of Hamburg with a view of the Alster. Martin Haller, among others, worked here as an architect. A hotel was the beginning of its history. Today it is a beautiful Kontorhaus with a magnificent staircase. In 1956 the famous Streit Theater im Haus opened. Unfortunately it closed again in 2013.
