Im Frühjahr 2018 eröffnete das Luxushotel an der Alster. Seine besondere Form ließ auch für die Gestaltung innen viel Raum. Keine Wand steht zu einer anderen parallel. Sehr schön zu sehen im Patio, dem großartigen Innenhof des Hotels.

In spring 2018, the luxury hotel on the Alster opened. Its special shape also left a lot of room for the design inside. No wall is parallel to another. Very nice to see in the patio, the great inner courtyard of the hotel.

Kontorhaus Mittelweg

Im Stadtteil Hamburg-Rotherbaum steht ein pompöses Eckhaus am Mittelweg. 1873 errichtet nach einem Entwurf von Johannes Grotjan. In 2000 erfolgte unter Regie von Wegner Immobilien die aufwändige Sanierung mit Schaffung einer Glaskuppel für das Licht im Treppenhaus.

In the Hamburg-Rotherbaum district, there is a grandiose corner building on Mittelweg. It was built in 1873 to a design by Johannes Grotjan. In 2000, Wegner Immobilien carried out an extensive renovation, including the creation of a glass dome for the light in the staircase.

Der Architekt Ferdinand Streb erbaute in 1950 das Iduna-Germania-Gebäude, heute Sitz einer Hochschule. Er war auch für die Grindel-Hochhäuser und den Alsterpavilion verantwortlich. Sein Baustiel bekam den Namen „organische Moderne“.

In einer Seitenstraße der Hamburger Rothenbaumchaussee sind noch ursprüngliche Häuser zu entdecken. Sie führt zur Schlüterstraße. Das Funkhaus des NDR und der Tennis Centre Court sind nicht weit entfernt.
