Hammonia ist eine neulateinische Bezeichnung für die Stadt Hamburg. Der Architekt Ernst Friedhelm (1864-1919) schuf 1912/1913 das Kontorhaus. In 1944 wurde das Haus zum Teil zerstört, Wilhelm Fischer (1872-1947) baute 1947 das Haus wieder auf. Ein historischer Eingang empfängt den Besucher und führt in ein schönes Treppenhaus.

Hammonia is a neo-Latin name for the city of Hamburg. The architect Ernst Friedhelm created the Kontorhaus in 1912/1913. In 1944 the house was partly destroyed, Wilhelm Fischer rebuilt the house in 1947/1948. A historical entrance welcomes the visitor and leads into a beautiful staircase.

Der Georgshof ist ein Hamburger Kontorhaus und befindet sich am gleichnamigen Platz in der Hamburger Altstadt. Eine schöne geschwungene Front mit viel Fensterfläche lädt ein. Erbaut zwischen 1905 bis 1906 von Wilhelm Fischer (1872-1947). Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich Gewerbe, im Gebäude befindet sich u. a. die Galerie der Alfred Toepfer Stiftung.

Georgshof is a Hamburg office building and is located on the square of the same name in Hamburg’s old town. A beautiful curved front with a lot of window space is inviting. Built between 1905 and 1906 by Wilhelm Fischer (1872-1947). On the ground floor there is a commercial area, and the building houses, among other things, the gallery of the Alfred Toepfer Foundation.
